NewsChildren In Need 2011 Another fantastic fund-raising day today. Children have been buying Pudsey badges all week, collecting change in Pudsey buckets in the class room and buying raffle tickets to try and win some money-can't-buy prizes, such as being PA to Mrs Wales and enjoying a cream tea. Today Pudsey walked around the school with a bucket and joined in the fund-raising. At break time the children bought a cake with Pudsey on it to enjoy, with all proceeds going towards Children In Need. This afternoon we enjoyed an X Factor concert showcasing some amazing talent from every class, from the Nursery all the way up to Year 6. With a special performance at the end by the staff! The children came dressed up in many different outfits all beginning with the letter "P". There were princesses and pirates aplenty, pumpkins, pop stars, punks, polka dot, pink, purple, pyjamas galore and many many more. Well done for all your innovative ideas! Thanks to Mrs Smyth who works extremely hard each year to make sure Children In Need is a special day to remember, as well as raises lots of money for a very worthwhile cause. All this hard work has certainly paid off as we have raised a staggering....... £837.16!!!! Well done to all of you and your families for this amazing donation, you should be very proud of yourselves.
