NewsHarvest 2010 On the last day of the half term the whole school walked down to the Methodist Church in Quay Street to celebrate Harvest. During our Harvest Church Service the children sang lots of songs beautifully. All of the parents that attended were very impressed with the quality of their singing. The families of Barton very generously gave gifts of food which were passed on to the Salvation Army to feed people in difficulty. Two members of the Salvation Army came to talk to the children and expressed their thanks at the generosity of our families in helping those less fortunate than ourselves. Look at the amazing amount of gifts collected for this very worthwhile cause. Thanks to everyone who donated food.
