We have had an amazing week full of many exciting activities, I will try to mention as many as possible...

we all visited the Lord Louis Library, had stories read to us and borrowed books,
we read lots of stories in school
we brought in our favourite books and shared them
we completed book reviews
we wrote stories
we made books
we made book marks
the older year groups read to groups of the younger children
Mrs Jackson from the library service came and read to our classes.

We also had a family book quiz, and the lucky winner drawn out of the bag was Devon - congratulations!  He got to choose a book from the book fair as his prize.

The book fair was in school and many children purchased books from it giving us many more books for school.  Well done to all those who came. 

The highlight of the week was on Friday when we had 2 exciting things happening.  We all dressed up as our favourite book characters and looked absolutely fabulous.  There were many terrific ideas - well done to everyone. 

Secondly all week a story had been snaking its way around school with each class adding to it, and we had the grand performance of this school story acted brilliantly by the staff!  We did a fantastic job even if i do say so myself!
