NewsLego Man 2010 What a fantastic day! Key Stage 1 were very lucky to have a visit from Mr Garside the Lego Man. He brings with him 79,000 pieces of lego and the children and their parents get to make fantastic houses with them, which are then all put together to create a stunning village.
The school played host to Summerfields Year 1 and Year 2 who also all came with their families. The children all worked extremely hard and came up with fantastic houses. They then exercised their imaginations to come up with ideas that set their building apart from the others. We had lighthouses, garages, extensions, 2 and 3 story houses, roof gardens, ponds, swimming pools, vehicles and a magnificent County Hall.
The work that had gone into all of these buildings was amazing and the end results stunning.
Thank you to all the parents who came to help today. I think they almost enjoyed themselves more than the children!! It was lovely to have a joint venture with Summerfields and both schools worked extremely well together. I am sure you will all agree the results were worth the effort.
