Children In Need 2009

What a fantastic day!  The children and staff all came to school dressed up in things beginning with "P", there were princesses, pirates, police, pyjama's and pink things galore, and one or two more unusual things too.  Children collected pennies in Pudsey pots and Aspen Class collected the most and so gets to look after the Pudsey teddies this year.  At break time cakes and biscuits were on sale to raise money.

Children purchased raffle tickets trying to win the grand prize of being PA to Mrs Wales for a morning or afternoon.  Congratulations to Darcy, Kayleigh, Joel and Harrison who all won.

The afternoon was given over to our X Factor competition, where all the classes joined in with a dance, and some very brave smaller groups came up to perform a variety of songs and dances.  It was an afternoon of fun, laughter and lots of noise.  We gave "Simon Cowell" a headache!!

It was such a super day and made even better by the absolutely fantastic amount that the children and their families raised.

Congratulations to you all, you raised the amazing sum of:

(drum roll)

£515.41!!!
