Gong Xi Fai Chai

To celebrate Chinese New Year martial arts instructor Simon Lailey visited the school to show us how to perform a traditional Chinese Lion Dance.  He brought in traditional instruments that are used in the dance.

Some of the children had the opportunity to play the instruments; the drum, the gong or the cymbals for the lion to dance to.  The rest of the school listened as the instruments made lots of noise.

Mr Givens and Becky got the chance to hide inside the Lion costume and perform a dance for us.  Can you guess which one is which?
