Congratulations to the many children and their families who walked the wight in aid of the Hospice.  They marched up hill and down dale - mostly uphill (!) in their efforts to earn their sponsorship money. 

The grand total that their efforts have raised was a magnificent £2100!  This is a huge increase on last year, so a tremendous well done to everyone involved.

Here we are waiting to set off on our epic journey...

and en route...

Mr Burt and Mrs Webb walked the whole 26 miles to raise money and are currently nursing their large and painful blisters!!  Mrs Edwards also walked from Carisbrooke to Alum Bay, and although she enjoyed the challenge she has been heard saying never again!!  We'll see!
