 Tuesday afternoon was beautifully sunny and perfect for the drama clubs' production entitled Summer Holiday.  Reception and Year 1 had been working in drama club after school to perfect their routines.  They performed in front of the whole school and their own families, and displayed huge talent and confidence. 

Their speaking voices were loud and clear without the use of microphones.  Their dances were energetic and their songs were lively.  They were clearly having a great time. Their enjoyment was infectious and the audience watched with huge smiles on their faces as they were drawn into the story the children were telling.

As their warm-up act, the parents were treated to a wonderfully LOUD performance by Years 1 and 2, who performed a samba routine using instruments that they had designed and made to look like mini-beasts.  They also wore mini-beast hats that they had made.  They kept a perfect rhythm and watched their conductor very closely.

Well done to all the children who took part - you were all fantastic.
