NewsGardening Club South and South East in Bloom 2007 Gardening club children were very excited to learn that they had won the Gold award for South and South East in Bloom 2007. They put in so much hard work all year round to make sure that all of our gardens and tubs are bursting with colour, and their efforts have paid off. The judges were particularly impressed by how clean the grounds were, the quality of the vegetables grown in the allotment and the environmental area.
Mrs Spinney and Mrs Grace are very proud of all the children, and thanked them for their hard work. Well done and congratulations to you all. Pan in Bloom 2007 Our gardening club have also received recognition through Pan in Bloom 2007. They achieved a highly commended in the Young Person's Healthy Eating Initiative, and were the winners of the Young Person's Initiative. Congratulations once again.
Our Eco-club have been awarded the Eco-Schools bronze certificate, and will be going for the silver award next year. Congratulations. |
