NewsChinese Walking Parade On 5th May Barton Carnival Club joined together to celebrate the beginning of the Isle of Wight Walking Festival. 18 different groups combined to make a long and colourful procession through the streets of Newport early Saturday morning.
Our Carnival Club looked absolutely fantastic as they danced and smiled and energetically waved their ribbons. They received many bursts of applause as the crowds appreciated all the hard work that the children had put in to making their costumes.
A superb time was had by both children and adults alike. The children were excellent ambassadors for the school and behaved impeccably. Many thanks go to all the children and parents who gave up their time to turn up and perform. Thanks also to the families who supported the school as spectators. |
