During History Week all the children designed a time capsule to bury our memories and objects of the school in.  Last Friday our finalists Sophie, Emma, Lennox, Daniel, Liam, Rachel, Sammi, Saranne, Adam and Emily went in the mini bus to Cowes High School to see our time capsule being made. 

The children were fully involved in making the capsule using a vacuum forming machine to melt the polystyrene plastic over a tree mould.  the time capsule logo was then loaded onto a computer and sent to a cutting machine which the children watched intently.  The logo was then stuck on top of the capsule with a glue gun.

We have brought the capsule back to school and excitedly await the grand filling and burial!  The children were all wonderfully behaved, and excellent ambassadors for the school.  They tucked into juice, cakes and biscuits which were kindly provided by Miss Savage the Technology teacher.  Many thanks to Cowes High School for this opportunity.
