Welcome to Year 1 we like belonging in our new class room.  We have all settled in really well and are becoming more independent.  Our work challenges us and we are doing really well.

Our Trip To Briddlesford Farm

We went to Briddlesford Farm where we saw lots of brown and white cows, we found out that these were called Guernsey cows.  We stroked the baby calves and they licked us and tried to eat our clothes! They were really cute.

We drank some of the milk from the cows on the farm called Buttercup milk.  It was delicious and very very creamy. We all drank up every drop!

We went in the shop and saw lots of fruit and vegetables, meat and lots of things made from milk.

We saw the tractor cleaning up the poo, it was very smelly!  We stroked some of the bigger cows too.  We also saw a calf that was only 4 days old.  She was very nervous of us, but we were gentle so we got to stroke her, and we called her Rose.  It was a great trip out.
